Talk about the life being abroad

Being aboard is exciting  yet tough . I believe many of you in this forum are living out of your homecountry. Life must has entirely changed at the moment you have steped on the foreign nation.

Talk about your life being abroad---- it could be either possitive or negative. You can also post any questions about different cultures, instinct customs  that came across to you... Pictures are surely welcomed... or you can just simply whine here as well...

Feel free to talk

everyone's life is different and every kind of life is worthy to appreciate. Everything will be as usual if u get used to it. The kind of life is not important but the most important is what u have learnt from it.

Study overseas ..............................it's a long story, just havent got the time to tell .

check my space ,it might give a u a bit taste of studying overseas.

Candy, what are you doing in Singapore? Are you working or studying? It is a place where you can be exposed to English but be careful not to learn "Singlish". If you are a student, learn from the english teachers in school. They are usually qualified english teachers and they teach standard english. Let me know your email and I can give you more information.

I just re-read your post #2

Candy, I realised you are working in Singapore after re-reading your post. You should make friends with Singaporeans but since they usually speak Singlish, you should also try to get someone to show you how to learn standard english.
