The new men's tennis rankings are out. Rafael Nadal has surprise surprise close the gap on world No. 1 Roger Federer. 545 points now seperate the two men. The Spaniard could end Swiss star stay at the top place Federer has been since February 2004 before the end of this season. Of course Nadal victory Sunday in gentlemen's sigle final Wimbledon was a scent of his start. Sorry if you haven't heard him by now and I am surprised you haven't. Nadal won his crown of all England club and hold Federer's won five consecutive titles in the process. This match wins the distance all sets and in the record books as the longest man's championship match in the history of Wimbledon. Doctors have been advising Nadal now to take a few days rest. He has a sore knee. He won't be playing in this week's champion in Germany. Rafael meanwhile will reflect on winning Wimbledon. I'd love to win here. I mean right now today was my first, my third final. I just focus on the diamond, believing the victory of diamonds, that's what I think. I think this gonna change your life cause this is like some piece of history, you know, first Spanish person in fourty-two years. Yes, it's history, yes, because we didn't win for last fourty-two years. But this doesn't change my life or it should not. Are you the best player in the world right now? I did very well for the last couple of months though. For the last few months, I played better than Fderer. But I am still the No.2. How was during the wind race, how tough is it to keep concentration? how did the first one affect you because it seemed when you guy come back on court Rorger managed to get up hand? So I didn't know. I just accept the wind will be there, just I would say recall what I would think . On the Cycline, protestors made their presense known Monday at tour of France for riders taking part of 129 kilometer. Third stage were stopped by the group whose members were waving banners about thirty kilometers from finish line in N. Inovation by none of the tour France director Christan P apparently wonders. Protestor will assume half the way from the cyclists.
